Forgive Me Not - Weapon Model & Rig

3D modelling, texturing and rigging of the player's primary weapon for a collaborative game project.

3D Artist | 2024 | Tools: Blender, Krita

For Forgive Me Not I created the initial textured and rigged model for the player's primary weapon. Working as a 3D artist within a collaborative team, I carried the asset from concept discussions through the full pipeline: modelling, UV editing, Krita texturing, and final rig ready for animation handoff. I also contributed to early discussions about the game's story and structural direction.

Pipeline

The weapon was modelled in Blender following a reference-first workflow. UV maps were laid out for efficient texel density, textures painted in Krita, and the rig built with clean bone hierarchy and weights so the animation team could take it directly into their workflow without cleanup.

Collaboration

Beyond the 3D work, I took part in story and structure discussions with the team, helping to shape the narrative context the weapon would exist within. This cross-discipline contribution ensured the asset was designed with gameplay and narrative intent in mind, not just as an isolated model.
